Our unique and creative approach to providing equine assisted therapy makes a difference in the lives of clients who do not achieve success in more traditional forms of therapy. We are truly grateful for the support so this service can be provided to our community. Thank you!
Please know that your gift makes it possible for so many in our community to receive the mental health services that make a long-term and lasting impact in their lives.

"I am extremely glad I found CHAPS because if it wasn’t for CHAPS I’m not sure where I would be today. I will be grateful for everything that CHAPS has done for me and how much it has turned my life around. CHAPS is unique in so many ways but one of the biggest reasons they stand out from other counseling facilities is that they have equine therapy. There was a horse I connected with, his name was Gilligan and he helped me get through some really tough stuff. He always knew what I needed whether that be standing by my side or giving me a nudge when I thought I couldn’t do something. Counseling sessions with Gilligan always left me feeling better than I had when I came in those days. I found my voice because of CHAPS, although it was never really gone it was just hiding in the back of my mind to afraid to be heard.”
